Time to judge our ability to make well-calibrated predictions using Wits and Wagers to judge whether your ability to form estimates is well-calibrated! In the game, you make predictions on numerical trivial values (e.g. how many cars were registered in the US in 1920).
We’ll also take time to share how we came up with the numbers, so as to help others work from limited knowledge.
With the election on Saturday as well, we’ll also lock in predictions for those who wish to make them.
The meetup is at Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar, in the cafe area. Look for the LW and SSC signs. People start arriving at 1:30 pm, and the main activity will begin at 2:30 pm. Please follow posted guidance and notices in the store.
