The votes are in and SPQR: A History of Ancient Rome by Mary Beard will be the next book that we are reading together. Our first meeting reading the book will be the Wednesday after next, at 7:00PM CST on Wednesday, May 18th. Everyone should read the prologue and first chapter of the book before then and we will discuss these sections together and determine how much we will read next.
