In the spirit of previous meetups about rationalist Taboo, we’re going to try an alternate game with the same idea, of trying to communicate something with a limited vocabulary.
The game is called Person Do Thing (instructions). Like with Taboo, you’re trying to get someone to say a target word, but instead of having a small list of prohibited words, you have a (larger) list of allowed words that you have to limit yourself to. As with Taboo, it tests how well-connected your worldmodel is, and thus whether you identify the path to arbitrary concepts from your model’s “root nodes”.

The meetup is at Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar, in the cafe area. Look for the LW and SSC signs. People start arriving at 1:30 pm, and the main activity will begin at 2:30 pm. Please follow posted guidance and notices in the store.
